September 4^th Chapter Meeting

New Business;

There was no business meeting in August due to schedule conflicts.

Chapter picnic was well attended and a great time was had by all. The expenses worked out to be about 10.00 per person.

105^th Anniversary in Milwaukee ~ many chapter members attended, Paul’s picture is on Harley’s website of him carrying the Chapter flag in the parade.

Next year’s big event will probably be the 69^th anniversary for Sturgis.

Check out the Father Fred Newsletter, our chapter is recognized in it for ours efforts collecting $18,000 in July.

Lew 7 Dick got back from their 36 day ride out East. They had 9 days of dry weather, all the other days they were rained on.

Salivation Food drive planned for the first week in Nov. Raggs should be at the next meeting to give details and have sign up sheets.

Activities-Jim B. / 9/20 shoot at Maier’s in Brethren, Picnic at O’Connor’s 9/13, Tunnel of Trees ride 10/12. Activity pins handed out.

LOH- Laurie V. / please RSVP to Char if attending the scarf making party on the 19^th.

Possible PJ party at Renata Wilson’s in Nov.

John Lefler – Christmas party is Dec 6^th at Holiday Inn. Silent auction items are needed.

Rooms will be blocked off for Chapter members if they are staying over night.

No music is scheduled yet.

Kim & John’s ride for the VA raised 400.00, thank you to all that sponsored her.

Treasurer –Lew K. we are in good shape still.

Editor – Sherry O. Oct/Nov and Dec/Jan will be double issues. She needs all information for these issues in early.

New Member Liaison – Eric F. / Breast cancer fundraiser ride scheduled this weekend staring in Antrim County. $60 per bike + 40.00 for passengers. All proceeds will go to help those that can’t afford to pay for mammograms.

Eric is working on updating the member directory – he is requesting that everyone send him photos of themselves.

Assistant Director- Mike O. – planning a ride to Vermont 9/26 for 1 week, anyone interested please contact him.
