WELCOME

Welcome to the home page for the Northern Chapter of the Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.). We are a diverse group who are dedicated to riding and helping our community. Our chapter has a wide range of activities. This is one of the best ways to get to know the local area and people, especially if you are new to the area or just visiting. We all share the common bond our Harleys provide. We promote safe, yet fun, riding as long as the weather permits. When it doesn't cooperate we, still have things to do to stay in touch and socialize with those who feel the same as we do about our two wheeled companions.

We believe in safe riding and good friends and there is nothing better than riding, eating, and having fun. We try to ride every Thursday whether it is to our monthly meeting, a dinner location, a mystery location, or just a destination to ride to and explore. We are going to introduce long rides periodically that will be day long rides on the weekend for those that can't make a ride during the week. We have events like our progressive meal which combines riding, eating, and socializing. This is a rain or shine event. For those times when we can't get the bikes out we have plenty of activities such as Euchre tournaments, a pool tournament, a Chili Cook-off, and two charity activities we focus on every year.

Our Father Fred Foundation Ride in July hleps our communicy directly and is open to all riders. This year is our 20th Annual Ride for Father Fred! It will be held on the weekend of July 21st - 22nd and promises to be the best yet! We also support the Salvation Army with a weekend food drive in November and we receive a lot of local support to make both of these events huge successes.

To apply for membership to the Northern Chapter you must be an active member of the National H.O.G.. For more information feel free to stop in at our sponsoring store, Classic Motor Sports, and see our Member Liaison Officer or come to our monthly meeting held at Peegeo's at 7 p.m. on the first Thursday of the month during riding season and 6:30 during the winter.
